Bridal Beauty that is. It’s insane how much effort goes into looking good for one day. You want to look phenomenal, and essentially.. the most beautiful you have ever looked in your life. No pressure.
Where exactly do you begin? For me I want my skin to look flawless. So I caved when Sephora offered a Friends and Family promotion, and purchased the ever so popular Clarisonic Mia.

According to the Sephora review:
Clarisonic’s patented sonic technology gently removes the impurities traditional cleaning methods leave behind, cleansing six times better than your hands alone.
You apply your facial cleanser, turn it on and it pulses for sixty seconds then automatically turns off. And I must say – I love mine! Pricey? Yes. But I’m happy I made the investment. My skin looks healthier and feels so soft after I wash it. There are cheaper versions too – Olay has a cleansing brush that spins instead of pulses.
I wanted to do something else for my skin so when I saw some deals pop up on Living Social and Groupon for facials, I bought two. After hearing about all the benefits of facials for your skin, I knew I had to give it a try.
Going to the salon, I had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised to walk into a peaceful room of tea light candles and spa music playing in the background. I was given a towel wrap dress and told to lie down on the heated facial bed with a soft blanket.
I was given about ten minutes to just relax, and it felt amazing. (I’d love to come home to a room like that just relax for a few minutes every night!)
The sweet facialist came back in the room for my sixty minute facial. Overall, I loved it! She started by putting a towel on the top of my forehead and putting creams on my face. Next she turned on the steam machine which felt amazing on my face. I received a fabulous arm and hand massage.
And then there was a slight break from my relaxation – midway through she did the extractions. Basically it’s just the removal of all the blackheads (sounds kind of gross). This was done on my nose and chin and lasted about five minutes. It was slightly uncomfortable and slightly painful at times, but I was happy to have clean pores!

After extractions, more creams were put on my face, and toweled off with a warm towel over my face. I received an upper chest and head massage and forgot all about the extractions. By the end of the hour I was so relaxed and my face felt so soft. My only wish is that extractions could be completed at the beginning.
I’m definitely going to try to get a couple more in before the wedding!
